About Us > Friends Groups >

Friends of the Library are non-profit groups dedicated to improving their communities by helping to support the library. Friends groups support the library in many ways including sponsoring book sales, adult programs such as book discussions and author visits. They support the Children's Summer Reading Program and fund numerous needs the Library may have.

If you are interested in joining your local Friends group contact your nearest library. There are five Friends goups which help support libraries in our system. They are located in Candler, Pembroke, Richmond Hill, Statesboro, and Swainsboro.
