The Statesboro Regional Public Library System is a group of 6 southeast Georgia public libraries, serving Bryan, Bulloch, Candler, Emanuel and Evans Counties.

All of the Statesboro Regional Public Libraries boast a full range of books, audiobooks, DVDs, e-books, digital magazines, and downloadable audiobooks. They also provide Internet and WiFi access, access to online databases and digital services, reference and readers’ advisory services, and programming for children, teens, and adults. Each library offers printing, faxing, and scanning. In addition, there are dedicated genealogy areas in the majority of our libraries.

The Statesboro Regional Library System is a member of the statewide Georgia PINES System, which links all the member libraries together with 300 libraries across the state, and enables patron’s access to books from any library in the PINES system.

Library Cards

Statesboro Regional Public Libraries participates in PINES, a statewide circulation system. Your library card, which must be presented each time you borrow materials, may be used at 300 Georgia libraries. All cards are FREE, and are available to all residents of Georgia. Patrons of non-participating Georgia public libraries may receive a card from any PINES library. Persons who attend school, own property or are employed in Georgia are also eligible for a free card. Current I.D. must be shown at the time of registration. Property owners who do not reside in the state may be required to show proof of ownership. Proof of school enrollment or employment within the state may also be required.

Out-of-state cards are available to persons living outside Georgia who do not meet the above criteria for a $25 annual fee.

There is no minimum age for a child to receive a PINES card.

A parent or legal guardian may register a child. Parent or legal guardian must show proper ID to register a child. A parent or legal guardian must sign the application for all children under 18. Signing a child’s PINES card application denotes acceptance of responsibility for all fines, lost or damaged materials.
