Do you want a book someone else has checked out? You can place a "hold" and get on a waiting list. When the book(s) come back, we'll call you and let you know to come pick them up. PINES allows patrons to place holds for items owned by Statesboro Regional Library System. You may place a hold by following the instruction below. (for items not owned by Statesboro Regional Library System you will need to have a staff member place the item on reserve for you. You may click here to email us the information)

Instructions for placing holds in PINES

In order for you to place a hold on an item you will need:

  • Your PINES library card number
  • Your password
  • A computer with Internet access

  1. Go to the PINES homepage and click on the My account link.

    2. Enter Pines

  2. Search for a title - (Not sure how to search?")

  3. When you are in the item record , click on the Place a Hold link.

  4. You will then be asked to enter your library barcode number and password.

    5. Enter Pines

    You will also be asked to select a pickup location. If you logged in with your User ID and PIN at the beginning of the your session, your home library will appear as the default pickup location.
