A special Reading to Dogs program will be held each Saturday from 10:00-12:00 p.m. Fran Green will bring her certified therapy dog Chloe to the library so children could read to her. Reading to a dog provides a non-judgmental atmosphere for children to practice their reading.
Author Suzanne Brockmann recently visited the library to discuss her latest book Flashpoint. The Friends of the Library sponsored the event which was attended by an enthusiastic audience.
Donna Washington tells us the story of Anasi the Spider and Turtle. She visited the library on June 8th for our Vacation reading Program.
During the hot summer months, some of our patrons like to come to the library to use the computers. Our children's computers have educational software and games which are enjoyed by kids in the community. Pictured here, is Madison who enjoys learning on the computer.
