Genealogy Resource Fair

Genealogy Resource Fair

14 April 2023

Hosted by the Statesboro-Bulloch County Library

124 S. Main St. Statesboro, GA, 30458

The Statesboro-Bulloch County Library will hold a Genealogy Resource Fair on April 14th, 2023 that will be an all afternoon, library take-over event. This will be a chance for various genealogical and historical organizations from across Georgia to share information on what they are currently doing and what resources are available to the public. For many, this will be the first opportunity to meet with other organizations in person since Covid restrictions.

Booths will be set up around the library for the different participating organizations from 1pm to 5pm. The representatives will be happy to answer questions and have information on what resources they may provide. Some organizations will also give short presentations on what projects they are working on.

A program directory will be given to all in attendance. The directory will not only have a description and contact information for all participating organizations, but also information for others who are not able to participate in person.

Please contact Lillian Wingate, Regional Genealogist for the Statesboro Regional Public Libraries, with any questions. Email: lillianw@strl.info Phone: 912-764-1340
